Seriously.  If you are not watching this show, you should buy the DVDs when the series ends (in just a few months – sad!).  It is so beyond brilliant.

And the episode last night was one of the best ever.  In my opinion.

Your thoughts?

Oh, TV.

Our DVR is currently overloaded. I’ve had to resort to cancelling shows and either taping the reruns if possible or watching them online. It’s getting a little crazy. But it’s so worth it.

My current fall favorites are:

1. Bones. My favorite “Will they or won’t they?” couple. And as one of the Entertainment Weekly writers says it, David Boreanez (Agent Booth) has the best “I-love-you-so-much-it-actually-hurts” looks in the business.

2. The Office and 30 Rock. Enough said.

4. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This show is goofy and vulgar and hilarious. And you should be watching it.

5. How I Met Your Mother. Neil Patrick Harris is a genius.

What are your favorite fall shows? Any new shows you will be trying out? I am definitely going to check out Flash Forward.

Summer TV Loves

It’s difficult to find TV shows to love in the summer. This summer, my staples are:
Burn Notice on USA
Royal Pains on USA
10 Things I Hate About You – new show on ABC Family that is quite clever

Anyone else have any shows to recommend? Matt and I finally watched the pilot episode for Glee on Fox which aired in the spring. The actual season starts in the fall. It was awesome! We both highly recommend that everyone watches the pilot on Hulu immediately.

In other news, we painted outside again this weekend. And we’re still not done. It will be a glorious day when I can finally post the “after” pictures.

Did anyone see Steve Martin on American Idol last night?  I wasn’t thrilled with the two Idols take on the song, but I loved the song. Running off to iTunes to find it…

Edited to Add: I love Carrie Underwood. She’s so cute. She should be my friend. Just had to throw that out there.

We watched the pilot for NBC’s new show “Kings” last night. It was very soap opera/epic/dramatic, but I loved it. I hope it sticks around. You can google for a plot summary, and go to nbc.com if you want to watch the first episode online.
Anyway, Ian McShane plays a very intense King Silas in a fictional kingdom (everyone speaks with an American accent and the city looks like New York).
Young David Shepard becomes a war hero and is thrust into the spotlight when he saves the King’s son. And the main reason I am going to watch this show is for Christopher Egan, who plays David Shepard.

Um, swoon. This guy is skyrocketing into my top 5 TV love interests. More on that list another day.

Check out the trailer below.
